Moody Tongue Sushi at Hilton West Palm Beach

"I had dinner here last week and I'm still dreaming of this meal. Hands down the best restaurant in Palm Beach County. I would recommend this to every sushi lover out there. I made a reservation ahead of time and the evening of, I valeted my car. The valet gets validated after dinner and the parking that night ended up being free. I'm not sure if that's every night but that was a nice treat. I checked in at the front where there was a sign for Moody Tongue. They told me that they would come get me when the chefs were ready. I think it took about 15 minutes after our reservation time, but it was well worth the wait. We walked in having the room to ourselves for the first half an hour. We loved it. It was a nice intimate setting. We also had a very gracious host named Princess who assisted us with our questions and our order. We came on a Wednesday so it was their ala carte night. I liked this better because I got to choose what pieces I wanted. I also got to add on more pieces after I finished everything I ordered without having the hesitation and wait amongst the other seaters. Everything was a favorite! I can't say enough about their spicy scallop. I ended up having 2 hand rolls of the spicy scallop. Their ikura, uni, king salmon and torched wagyu were also incredibly memorable. Every bite was delicious. The chefs were also able to accommodate my request of torching certain pieces. Some nigiri pieces, they did give 2 pieces each time but that's okay. It made the dinner faster and each bite was heaven. Can't wait to come back again!"

"Very cool place. It’s especially funky and quirky because it’s on the lobby level of the Hilton Hotel. After valet parking, you enter the lobby and a very nice and professional hostess escorts you down a hall and then opens a door and welcomes you into a room that appears to be hotel room. However, once you enter the cozy room you realize that it’s a small sushi enclave with a sushi bar and just a few tables surrounding the sushi bar. The vibe is classy and hip. It has a bit of a speakeasy secret feel to it. The service is very attentive. Then the personal Omakase experience begins. The profesional courteous friendly Chef begins to deliver pieces of sushi which are exceptionally tasty! Each course is explained and broken down by the expert sushi chef. Bottom line I highly recommend Moody Tongue!"

"The only thing you will regret about Moody Tongue WPB is that you didn't find it sooner. You're guaranteed to enjoy each second of your time here and never want to leave. Every detail of this experience is absolute perfection. From the ambiance to each carefully curated course & drink pairing, the intention is palpable. The portions leave you feeling satisfied and eager to visit again. Little did I know, my fiancée had coordinated with the staff to propose during the course of our dinner. I can't express enough gratitude for how committed and enthusiastic the staff were to make our night so special. Everyone truly went above and beyond to make that moment full of love and unforgettable. Nora, Adam, the chefs, and the rest of the team treated us like family and gave us the most perfect memory. I am so thankful for their efforts to give us the happiest send off into this next chapter of our lives together. We will 100% be going back!!!"
